Who took the cookie game: each kid get a little card. Some of them have a cookie, some of them just an X. We say the „who took the cookie?” rhyme together. We chose one kid to ask if she/he took (has) the cookie. If she/he doesn’t have it, we move to the next kid until we find one who’s got a cookie.

1. Old witch and a black cat: Children sit in a circle on the floor. We chose one kid to be a witch, she/he put a witch hat on and stand a short distance away from the rest of the children and closes her/his eyes. We sing a rhyme: “Knock, knock! Trick or treat? Who are you?” “I’m a cat, I’m a little cat!”. One of the children is pointed to,(by the teacher) and the child goes closer to the witch and “meows”. The witch tries to guess who the black cat is.
2. Halloween hop: The teacher is the witch with the broom. “I am a very silly witch and I am going to cast a very silly spell on you. I am going to wave my broom and turn all of you into frogs.Now, how do frogs move around? Jump around! When I put my broom down, you will all stop.” Spells: frog, snake, bunny, giants, spider (they have to move like the animals)
