- How to play: Put an animal farm in the middle of the circle without any animals. While singing Old MacDonald Had a Farm, the children take one animal according to the song and place it in the correct spot on the farm. There should be a mud puddle, a pond, a field, and a hay bale.
- Line up several flashcards on the floor like train cars.
- Kids “walk along the train,” making each animal’s sound as they step on it.
- Variation: Mix up the order and let kids build their own “sound train.”
